By signing up for this workshop you are agreeing to participate in Theatre Guild's May 15th performance of I AM ME FIRST. Attendees must be able to attend 4 mandatory workshops on April 18th, 25th, May 2nd & 9th. Additionally, you must be available on May 13th for dress rehearsal.
What is I AM ME FIRST? A collection of real stories written and performed by real people. Participating in this workshop will contribute to participants professional and personal growth. This experience encourages people to find their voice, gain confidence. You will have the opportunity to experience personal stories of others and create your own story.
This process of receiving and creating is known to decrease loneliness and reduce sadness by manifesting a deep sense of connection to self and others. People who have listened to our I AM ME FIRST stories and/or created their own story report that it has been a life changing, extremely worthwhile experience.
Barb Turino is the leader of this program and founder of the I AM ME FIRST initiative. Barb's personal mission statement is to assist people in reaching their full potential. Barb’s passion is acting. She uses her theatrical skills to involve participants in creating a show that will dazzle any audience. Barb has compiled her experiences as an actor and business consultant in her book, Getting Your Act Together - How to Put the SHOW into Business.
