They will be sharing their methods and formulas for success which will enable you to develop your own bag of tricks.

    Leaders are:

    Barbara Turino

Barb has enjoyed a successful acting career for over 40 years. She has been fortunate to work with many different directors and directing styles. As the president of the Theater club in Casta Del Sol, a senior community in Mission Viejo, Barb and her creative partner write, direct, and perform in numerous shows each year.  Barb has also directed several Theater Guild productions, including Almost Maine, Cemetery Club, and some Readers Theatre one acts. She is excited to share some of her directorial tips and tools in this workshop.

    Bear Sanchez

Bear has been an entertainer for more than 40 years with extensive work in the field of education.  He takes great pride in being an "EduTrainer".  His entertainment career started in film and television at age eight, and later found his footing in theater and radio.  As an actor he plays dramatic and comedic roles, while also doing voice and directing. Bear finds joy in being a Children's Party Entertainer and Magician through his company, Star Quality Parties.  He's participated in many Theatre Guild productions and always brings his best to every endeavor.

Improv comedy is a type of live theater in which actors perform without a script.  Short, self-contained scenes will be created to provide the structure for improvisation.  Learn to listen, respond, react in a positive manner; show honest emotions and most importantly have fun.  You will learn that most improv techniques apply to other forms of theater.

Workshop leaders are Barb Turino and Bear Sanchez.  Both quick on their feet with a huge passion for authenticity!
